2009 Scholarship AwardsTue Jun 09 2009, 12:38 PM EDT
Each year we present "The Thomas J. Cooley Memorial Scholarship for Higher Education in Dentistry" to a student graduating from Methacton High School and from Norristown High School. Each Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit, grade point average, community service and enthusiasm for the field of Dentistry or Medicine.
The winnerr this year from Methacton High School is Emma Donnelly. Emma will be will be continuing her education at Temple University and will be going into the field of Nursing. Norristown High School recipient Pamela English will be attending Franklin & Marshall and plans to become a Doctor.

Our Doctors support the Elmwood Park Zoo and we participated in a fundraiser with the theme of Roaring 20's
We had a wonderful evening! Thanks to the Zoo Event Committee, volunteers and staff you all did an amazing job!

As an office, we won a free lunch from WMMR radio station. Lunch was from Panera's. Special Thanks to Kristine, our Lab Technician for being a VIP member and bringing the guys and the WMMR Van out to our office. It was a great lunch.

Women's EXPO At The Plymouth Meeting Mall on May 8,9,10, 2009Fri Apr 17 2009, 9:36 PM EDT
Cooley-Bentz Dental Associates and Bentz Dental Implant & Prosthodonitc Center participated in the "Women's EXPO" that was held over Mother's Day Weekend at the Plymouth Meeting Mall on Friday May 8th, Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th, 2009.
We offered information on various topics directly
relating to women's issues and dentistry and answered dental questions from all who attended. We held a special drawing for a Zoom! Teeth Whitening Gift Certificate.

Philly Fit Bash being Held on May 17th 2009, 11AM to 3PMFri Apr 17 2009, 9:30 PM EDT
Bentz Dental Implant & Prosthodontic Center and Cooley-Bentz Dental Associates, P.C. was represented at the 9th Philly Fit Bash held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 11AM to 3PM. We loved this healthy, preventive, fun atmosphere. We demonstrated the proper way to brush and floss manually, as well as, the correct usage of the "Sonicare" Ultrasonic Toothbrush. Dental Questions were answered and lots of goodies were given to take home.
We rafflede off a ZOOM! Whitening Session Gift Certificate.
Patient's who had family members or friends stop by to see us were entered into a special drawing for a surpirse gift!
This was a great event held at the new Fairmount Athletic Club, 499 South Henderson Road in King of Prussia. There were 65 to 80 Local Business represented that gave health related Screenings with tons of Healthy Foods and samplings for the whole family. A lot of fun activities and demonstrations took place all for a small entrance fee.
All were welcomed with free take home bags, there was no n age limit!! It was definitely a fun day for all!
A portion of the Bash proceeds went diretly to WAGS Animal Rescue.
